Blog/Life Update

Hey bookworms!

You probably noticed I haven’t been posting my reviews here since March. I’m sure I’m not the only one but the global pandemic really got to me. Things have started to get back to normal lately and I feel like I have energy again to come back to the blog. I am going to do a very quick list of all the books I’ve read in April, May, June and July here now! I will put the highest rated books at the top of the list and work my way down. If you want more info about a specific book, feel free to comment or check out the review on my Instagram page. Here we go!

  • ACOTAR series by Sarah J Mass – an epic fantasy romance that tore my heart up and then patched it back together
  • Becoming by Michelle Obama
  • The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary
  • Crescent City by Sarah J Mass
  • Silver Girl by Elin Hilderbrand
  • Serpent and Dove by Shelby Mahurin
  • The Jane Austen Society by Natalie Jenner
  • The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren
  • The Hunger Games Trilogy (a reread)
  • The Ballad of Songbrids and Snakes
  • The Book of Second Chances by Katherine Slee
  • A Curse So Dark and Lonley by Brigid Kemmerer
  • A Heart So Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer
  • Agnes at the End of the World by KellyMcWilliams
  • Bookshop on the Shore by Jenny Colgan
  • The Parade by Dave Eggers
  • Party of Two by Jasmine Guillory
  • No Exit by Taylor Adams
  • The Dutch House by Ann Patchett
  • Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton
  • Long Bright River by Liz Moore
  • The Scent Keeper by Erica Bauermeister
  • Endurance by Scott Kelly
  • The Wife Who Knew Too Much by Michele Campbell
  • 28 Summers by Elin Hilderbrand
  • I am Malala by Malala Yousefzai
  • One Perfect Sumer by Brenda Novak

As you can see I spent a lot of time reading while working from home and working less. But I’m back in the office now and the reading has slowed down a lot in July, back to the normal 8-10 books per month. I am currently reading 11/22/63 by Stephen King and thoroughly enjoying it! I plan to finish that one and 3 other books by the end of July! I will be putting my reviews here again starting soon and I really appreciate everyone who stuck around while the world fell apart.

Happy Reading!
