You guys!!! Read Goodbye to 2020 starts tomorrow!!! I’m so excited to read all day all day! Here’s the rules again and page tracking template if you need them! I’m going to be hosting a one hour reading sprint every night of the readathon! Including Christmas day and New Years Eve! So look for those on Instagram if you want to join in!
I’ve had a pretty good reading month so far. I started the month with Forever Wild by KA Tucker, it’s the third book in a series and it was a short novella. It was set during Christmas and was very festive! Next I finished Royal Holiday by Jasmine Guillory. It was also a super cute holiday romance, set in London, England with royalty in the background, but the main romance is a chance meeting between two 50-somethings. Super cute. I finally got my copy of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by VE Schwab and it was just as amazing as I hoped. Read my full review here. Next I read Why Birds Sing by Nina Berkhout. This one was a little different from my usual reads but I ended up really enjoying it. It was about an opera singer that is on voice rest and makes friends with her brother-in-laws quirky parrot. There’s a whole lot of interesting characters to entertain! Finally I read A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens! I’ve never read it before but it was short and festive!
I’m currently reading Fable by Adrienne Young and have a whole list of books I want to finish during the readathon! We are going to read so much these last 2 weeks of 2020! I’m starting with the Shadow and Bone trilogy! What are you starting with?
