Good morning bookworms! It’s April 15th already. I don’t know why but this month my reading has been so slow. I’ve watched a lot more movies and TV. Still haven’t watched Bridgerton though…
Maybe it’s because I’m reading so much more nonfiction this month. So far I’ve finished 3 books. Now if you’ve been following this blog for more than a month, you’ll know I usually read more than 8 books per month. So 3 books is not very much for me. I’m still happy that I have read any books don’t get me wrong, that’s just not my usual speed reader style.
Books read so far in April:
- Finding Freedom by Erin French – a memoir, you can find the review here.
- King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo – review to come after I read the second book, Rule of Wolves
- Broken by Jenny Lawson – a memoir sort of, you can find the review here.
I am currently in the middle of two books. The Beautiful Ones by Silvia Moreno-Garcia which publishes on April 27th. And The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett which is our book club pick this month! I have high hopes to finish at least those two and 3 other books this month. Wish me luck!
