Books I’m anticipating the rest of 2021

Good morning bookworms! Are you anxiously waiting for any books to release? A new book by a favourite author? A sequel to a book you’ve read last year? I have so many that I’m excited for and can’t wait to get my hands on. Here’s a list of some, I’ve probably missed a bunch. Each book has a link to preorder from Indigo if you wanted it too, just click on the title! I appreciate so much when you guys use my affiliate links! See contact page for disclaimer.

The Last Legacy by Adrienne Young releases September 7. I really enjoyed her Fable duology and am excited for this standalone fantasy!

The Inheritance of Orquidea Divina by Zoralda Cordova releases September 7. I was attracted by the name of this book. It has ancestral magic which I’ve recently discovered is a fantasy theme I really enjoy.

Harlem Shuffle by Colson Whitehead releases September 14. I really enjoyed Nickel Boys and now want to read all of his back list. But this new release promises the 60’s and heists, two of my favourite things!

Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber releases September 28. I enjoyed Garber’s first series Caraval and am excited to dive into this new series!

Feeding the Soul by Tabitha Brown releases September 28. If you aren’t following @iamtabithabrown on Instagram you are missing out like so, like that. She is so funny, so frank, shares awesome vegan recipes, and can always put a smile on my face. I’m so excited to read this memoir.

A Shadow in the Ember by Jennifer L. Armentrout releases October 19. This is a new series set in the same world as From Blood and Ash. I really enjoyed that series and am excited for more information about Nyktos.

Girls of Fate and Fury by Natasha Ngan releases November 2. This is the third and final book in the Girls of Paper and Fire trilogy. It’s a sapphic love story, a tale of revenge and a fight for freedom. I loved book 1, enjoyed book 2 and hated the cliffhanger I was given. So I’m really looking forward to book 3 and getting all the answers.

That’s all I can think of for now! Are there any I’m missing that you are looking forward to?

Happy Reading!

Angie
